No no no, when I say classics, I mean original Star Trek I'm an old school nerd!
Not that I dislike any of the new stuff, but I just enjoy seeing where it all spawned from. Plus, it easier to forgive the dodgy special effects etc

Ah...finally something you say that i can disagree with...even though i admit that some episodes are quite catching, but since i love the movie i can't forgive them how they mutilated the story...

Hehehe, i think you will enjoy Raumpatrouille Orion (Space Patrol Orion) a german cult Sci Fi series made at the same time as Star Trek.
Oh, and what i liked abaout Battlestar Galactica (the new series) was that (with the exception of the starships and the new centurions) it doesn't use much special effects but more realism (no cheesy laser pistols but bullets)...
But even though i don't mind "dodgy special effects" if there is a good ongoing story and character development, that's why i liked Babylon 5 with it's cringeworthy AMIGA 500 graphics.

Great to see these two barefoot. I was a fan of the original BSG as a teenager, but like the re-imagining much better. The original was a product of its time. Character development, storylines and acting are much better on the latter series. All the actress on the new show have been barefoot onscreen one time or another. The two Cylon babes were barefoot when each was in the brig. Thanks.
