Amber Tamblyn in "Spiral"Somewhere around 50 mins in (sorry, I can't be more exact) Amber is posing for an artist and there's a very nice sole shot (not closeup, but very clear) followed by a few more quick but excellent barefoot shots in the next scene. This is *possibly* a foot double, because you don't see her face in the same shot, but I'm pretty sure it's her -- at least, if it isn't, they went to a LOT of trouble to find a girl whose feet look just like hers.

Why would they get a foot double?

It's very, very common in movies and TV shows. Usually it's done to save time -- they shoot the closeup with a foot double because the actress is already off shooting another scene. Sometimes it's because the actress is shy about showing her feet -- Kim Basinger supposedly insisted on a foot double when she did a Tom Petty video. So you can't be absolutely sure it's the actress unless you see her face in the same shot -- or unless there's something distinctive about her feet, like a tattoo.
